UTMB’s Earth Day celebration is this Friday, April 25. activities start at 10 a.m., with a free BBQ lunch (for first 2000) at 11:30 a.m. It’s on the Moody Medical Library Plaza again, and will feature live music, busloads of school kids, free plants, the swap shop, exhibitors and a lot more. Don’t miss it.
It takes a small army of volunteers, about 200, to pull this all together. They are marshaled by ringleaders Ken Steblein and Diana Davison. If you see them tomorrow, tell them thanks and share how much you’re enjoying the event.
