I’ll probably be shopping for a “starter” laptop for my daughter in the next few months (She’d probably rather have a phone). I’m watching with interest a growing movement in a Windows-free (it’s Linux based) and hard drive-less laptop. It probably wouldn’t work for my daughter, but here’s an example.
Some of you may recall I was shopping for a home PC last summer. I ended up buying a fairly robust HP desktop at Sam’s. I haven’t been too happy with that decision; I have an issue with a network card no one has been able to resolve, including HP’s customer support. As always, buyer beware.
