New Outpatient Payment Option for Employees

Effective immediately, UTMB is offering a new minimum deposit plan for employees who need to schedule outpatient medical procedures. Previously, employees were asked to pay their entire deductible (if the deductible had not previously been met) and coinsurance before the procedure. Now, employees will have the option of paying $100 in advance of the service, and then establishing an acceptable payment arrangement with the billing offices until the balance is paid.
