Chinese/Vietnamese/Korean New Year 4708, Year of the Tiger   (Buddhism)
The first day after the new (dark) moon is a religious and cultural festival celebrated by Chinese, Vietnamese, and Koreans of Buddhist and other backgrounds as New Year’s Day for the year 4708 (Year of the Tiger) in the Chinese calendar.  Tibetans may celebrate February 15.
