Have you noticed that Microsoft Word omits the ‘Command-Shift-S’ keyboard shortcut for ‘Save As…’? You can easily rectify that oversight, and create/edit keyboard shortcuts for most any application, in Keyboard System Preferences. Apple has instructions here. How to forward delete text?

The delete key on a Macintosh moves the cursor backward as it deletes letters, instead of forward, the usual behaviour in Windows. In order to forward delete, just hold down the ‘Function’ or ‘fn’ key on laptops, or the ‘Option’ key on desktop keyboards, as you press the Delete key.
