If your Mac runs OS X 10.6 or later, setting up an Exchange mail account in Apple Mail is easy. Once Mail is open, just follow the prompts under Mail/Preferences/Accounts. (Click the ‘Plus’ sign to get started.) Mail is a bit different than Outlook on a PC, but it’s very usable. There’s no default three-pane view like in Outlook, but there’s a freeware plugin for that here: http://harnly.net/software/letterbox/.
