Currently I’m the Senior Practice Manager for UTMB - CMC at the Jester IV unit inRichmond Texas. I am responsible for the daily operations of a 550 bed Psychiatric Inpatient Facility. I have over 21 years of corrections and health care services experience. I am proud to be a part of the community outreach group committee. I have served in various public service leadership positions from the United States Army, Texas Department of Corrections and UTMB –CMC. My educational background consists of a Master in Education and a Master of Business Administration. As someone who has closely worked with employees and supervisors, I feel a deep sense of commitment to helping the organization achieve its mission through it’s staff.

My wish is to continue to serve on this committee, because I strongly support and believe both the Mission and the Vision of the organization: To address the health care needs of the under-served patient populations.To be recognized as a world leader in the delivery of correctional health care services. To demonstrate compassion to our patients and their families. To manage itself in a manner that reflects the highest ethical and moral standards. To embrace and encourage diversity and value it’s contributions to our organization. To promote life long learning for our staff and patients. To promote innovative and creative solutions to challenging health care delivery problems.

Being a voice bi-directionally for staff and senior leadership is quite an honor and privilege. I’m looking forward to serving our staff of UTMB and Correctional Managed Care that we might better serve our community.
